EC Collaborative Hosted By: Tracy Riddle

Hi, my name is Tracy Riddle and I would love to tell you all a little about myself.

I have my Master’s degree in special education, an administrative certification, teaching licensure in 4 areas and has worked in the field of education for over 40 years.

In those 40 years, I have worked as a Recreation Therapist, Qualified Mental Retardation Professional, Exceptional Children’s Teacher, Preschool EC Teacher, Preschool Administrator, Program Specialist, Exceptional Children Director in Pitt County Schools, NCDPI Policy Monitoring and Audit Consultant, Special Programs and Data Consultant and Section Chief.

I was also fortunate enough to be a visiting lecturer at East Carolina University, teaching undergraduate classes for the Special Education Department.

I joined Acadia Northstar in September 2017 after retiring as Special Programs and Data Section Chief from the NCPDI Exceptional Children’s Division.

I have had the pleasure of working with Dr. Tom Miller with the EC Collaborative for the past two years and I am looking forward to assisting with the EC Collaborative again this year.

I also work in the Burn West Raleigh Child Watch, and in my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my three grown children, and my 4 grandchildren, travelling, cooking, reading, helping at my church, doing word challenge puzzles and going to Burn Boot Camp every morning for HIIT workouts.
