Amanda Guevara
Amanda Guevara is the audit manager at Acadia NorthStar, the largest provider of charter school financial and student information management services in North Carolina. She holds a Master of Accountancy degree and a bachelor's degree in accounting, both from Gardner-Webb University.
Guevara works with clients' independent auditors to ensure accounting data is presented correctly for their reporting needs. She enjoys the continuous learning process that is required to meet the unique financial management needs of charter school clients, and employs accounting best practices to better serve clients.
Brandi Simmons
Brandi began her career in education later in life from an active parent in the school to a parent elect board member then an employee. She is currently the Finance & HR Director for Clover Garden School in Burlington, NC. We are a K-12 charter school with 950 ADM. I bleed blue & green (school colors) #gogrizzlies My husband (Derek) of 20+ years is a very patient and understanding gentleman. I have two awesome adult children. One daughter that is an HR Manager in the corporate world and one son that is a Firefighter and if I am being honest, my four-legged fur babies are the favorites (Lily & Smudges). My hobbies are cooking, feeding others, and planning family night outs.
I have 25+ years Business & HR Management experience, Continuing education in HR Law and a SHRM member. I enjoy learning new best practices and look forward to our Inner Circle collaborations.
